Shipping Policy for Roy’s Bait and Tackle Outfitters
We’re currently accepting orders for Store Pickup and offering automated shipping on select products. If you’d like something else shipped to you, give us a call or send an email and we try to work with you. Shipping to lower 48 of USA states only, cost will depend on size/weight/distance traveled/insurance of package and carrier. We do have limited shipping to Hawaii and Alaska. We do not ship internationally. We ship USPS and UPS primarily. We DO NOT ship some products, like frozen bait. We have restricted shipping on oversized items. ** Look below for examples
Any oversize items will have to be called in at 361-992-2960 to calculate shipping charges… 1 pc Rods or Blanks for instance can not be longer than 95″ packaged length or it will be considered OVERSIZED. OVERSIZED is 96″ to 108″ packaged length. All measurements are rounded up. We would need to calculate shipping on these items. Shipping can be as much as $400 depending on weight/distance traveled/insurance via UPS/FEDEX

**OVERSIZE Items: Blanks over 95″ packaged length, Coolers, Beach carts, Truck rod racks,Nets, Gaffs, Select Rods, Traps for ex. Reserve the right to not ship oversized items as we see fit.
We only ship to the billing address of the card used. We will not ship to a different address. If you fail to put the billing address on the order or put it in incorrectly, it will result in the order being cancelled and you will have to re-order your items with the correct information before we will process the order. We process the orders manually once we verify payment information and have product in hand.
Mail Forwarding/Freight Forwarding/third party ordering. We will not ship to any freight/mail forwarding services. We also do not accept third party orders. We only ship to the billing address of the card used within the United States. No exceptions.
We reserve the right to cancel orders that have high number of cards and names associated to the IP address. It looks suspicious and we are not willing to take a chance. To minimize this, it is recommended to order from a non wireless connection.
USPS Priority is our default shipping method. USPS Priority is 1-3 days depending how far away from us you are. We normally ship larger and high value items via UPS ground. That can take up to 5 business days depending on how far away you are from us.
Shipping Fees. We try our best to estimate shipping fees. We often reimburse the difference if we find that shipping fees were cheaper. If shipping fee end up being more, you may be contacted to pay the additional charges.
Lost/Damage Items. Any lost or damage items from shipping will have go through a claim process before we issue new product or refund. For lost items, the claim process will not start until 15 days after the original shipping date. All claims are to be started by the shipper.
Delayed Items. We are not responsible for delayed items once we give it to the carrier. Anything after that is out of our control. A claim will have to be issued before we can issue new product or refund. We have to wait 15 days after the original shipping date before starting a claim. All claims are to be started by the shipper.
Store Pick-up
Your order will be ready for store pick-up within 48 hours** (often a lot less).
You will receive an email confirmation when it is ready.
- We will try to prioritize in store pick ups to process them faster. **There may be some exceptions. There is only one person that handles the online site and orders. That person maybe on days off or on vacation.**
- You are welcome to call the shop to check on the status of the order, but we will send an email saying when it is ready. Please be sure to keep and eye on your SPAM/JUNK folders as some email systems may place such emails in there.
- Only the person who placed the order will be allowed to pick up the order. We verify this by checking ID at time of pick up against the order.
