RIO’s Winter Redfish line is designed specifically for anglers targeting big gulf Red in cooler conditions. The line features a short, powerful front taper that has no problem turning over large mullet and baitfish patterns,m white the short , easy casting head ensure the line loads up at close range. The line has slick coating and medium-stiff core that will not tangle in cooler conditions, and features RIO’s XS and AgentX technologies, as well as welded loops on both ends for easy rigging.
Dual Tone Technology
This system marks the sweet spot of a fly line by providing an obvious color change in the line. RIO tests every line model and size on a selection of fly rods to find the best spot where the rod loads, and the color change starts at that point. With this Dual Tone system, it’s so easy to see how much line to strip in, where to pick up a cast, how much line can be held in the air when false casting, and when to make the final cast.
